"Works like a dream - used to lift my mom with a two-man lift chair upstairs...not fun...now with the motorized chair, I strap her in, lean the tracks against the stair and let it climb with me just holding the handle and pressing the power button. It walks down just easy. So easy, my 16 year old used it with me strapped in...great piece of equipment."

"I'm an EMS Coordinator for a company who recently purchased this stair lift. It is incredible, it's so much safer for our patients as well as back saving for our EMT's. I would 100% recommend this lift. It was also very easy to use and very easy to train my guys and girls on. We all love it!"

Atlas Portable Wheelchair Stairlift - Minor Cosmetic Defects FAQs

How noisy is the stairlift?

The battery-operated stairlifts are super quiet, so they won’t disturb the peace and quiet of your home.

Can stairlifts be used on both sides?

Absolutely! Since our stairlifts are portable, they aren’t restricted to just one side.

What happens to the stairlift during a power outage?

No worries during a power outage! Our battery-powered stairlifts don’t need external power so long as they’re charged.

Can other people still use the stairs with a stairlift in use?

It depends on the width of the staircase. On an average staircase, others can usually use the stairs above or below the rider, but there might not be enough space to pass beside the stairlift unless the staircase is wider than average.

What is the average lifespan of a stair lift?

With proper maintenance, a stairlift can last up to a decade.

What makes the Atlas different from other stairlifts?

The Atlas stands out from other stairlifts because it is specifically designed to accommodate wheelchair users and comes with more features than you’d typically find on similar products. It can carry up to 440 lbs despite the lift only weighing 53 lbs and features simple controls, an adjustable chair size to suit various patient needs, and a wall hook for even more convenience.
